We must first, discern between SARS-CoV2 viral infection </div><div>vs Spike protein intoxication fr vaccination</div><div><br /></div><div>2. Also, we need to discern between the primary effect and secondary effect </div><div>from a specific detoxing remedy of interest.</div><div><br /></div><div>3. Furthermore, we have to discern between the mechanism of primary effects </div><div>whether it removes the spike proteins or it simply blocks/neutralise the spike proteins.</div><div><br /></div><div>If we don't understand the above 3 essential points </div><div>we will be happily taking remedies but still end up unwell.</div><div><br /></div><div>A lot of remedies recommended including some from FLCCC and WCH </div><div>were to resolve SARS-Cov2 virus problem mainly. </div><div>They don't quite specifically target spike protein intoxication </div><div>or vaccine intoxication. </div><div><br /></div><div>A remedy that prevents propagation of virus or viral entering human cells, </div><div>don't fully protect us fr spike protein intoxication. </div><div>For instance, shikimic acid may kill a virus, or block virus entering our cell, </div><div>but it will fail to curb the HIV fragment </div><div>of the engineered spike protein that lowers one's immunity. </div><div><br /></div><div>What we truly need now are remedies that target spike protein, </div><div>not a living SARS-Cov2 virus </div><div>(which has already evolved to tame down, </div><div>or may even have lost the engineered fragments).</div><div><br /></div><div>If a remedy truly does target the Spike Protein, </div><div>then we need to understand whether </div><div>it remediates the primary or secondary effect from Spike Protein. </div><div><br /></div><div>Many of the herbals/supplements out there, </div><div>simply reduce inflammation caused by Spike Protein only. </div><div>Eg Antioxidant pills. It reverses inflammation after spike protein causes the inflammation. </div><div>But the remedy doesn't act directly on the spike protein </div><div>to prevent it from initiating an inflammation from the beginning. </div><div><br /></div><div>This idea is especially crucial because we can never keep up with </div><div>the ever continuing inflammation </div><div>caused by an active Spike Protein staying inside our body.</div><div><br /></div><div>Some remedies even it works directly on Spike Protein, </div><div>their mechanisms don't resolve the situation in-depth. </div><div>For example, dark tea or even ivermectin, </div><div>they work directly on the Spike Protein by blocking or neutralising the Spike Protein, </div><div>but they don't destroy the Spike Protein. </div><div><br /></div><div>Over time, when dark tea components and ivermectin naturally degrade, </div><div>the spike protein is again released to do all its nasty work.</div><div><br /></div><div>Therefore, we need to specifically look for remedies that </div><div>. Target spike protein not the virus</div><div>. Resolve the primary effect of spike protein, not the secondary effect</div><div>. Destroy the spike protein not only neutralising it.</div><div><br /></div><div>So far, it's suggested by Dr Peter McCollough, </div><div>that supplement form of high dose</div><div>Bromelain and Nattokinase (non food form) </div><div>can eventually allow significant amount of the enzymes </div><div>to enter blood stream to directly destroy and digest away Spike Protein. </div><div><br /></div><div>This is noteworthy especially many people may want to resort to food sources of</div><div>Bromelain and Nattokinase (ie Pineapple and Natto)</div><div><br /></div><div>But, when Bromelain and Nattokinase are taken in food forms, </div><div><br /></div><div>. They work as food digestive enzyme and </div><div>get exhausted in the gut before entering blood stream</div><div><br /></div><div>. There may not be sufficient dosage to enter blood stream </div><div>to digest away the Spike Proteins inside the blood.</div><div><br /></div><div>Despite the highlights on Bromelain and Nattokinase,</div><div>all other natural remedies </div><div>(eg black tea, ginger, pine needles, Zinc, VitD etc) are still valuable, </div><div>because they at least help buy time and prevent the situation worsening. </div><div>Just that we must combine with remedies that</div><div>digest away the spike protein our body,</div><div>otherwise ultimately we will still lose the battle despite extra time we buy.</div><div><br /></div><div>To understand better why we must detox away the Spike Protein,</div><div>let us see how</div><div>the engineered Spike protein bring these 3 major damages:</div><div><br /></div><div>A. plant based diets</div><div>come in diversified forms.</div><div><br /></div><div>This is especially necessarily </div><div>when there are more commoners being new to plant based living</div><div>but confused about it...</div><div>eg. </div><div><i> ~can vegetarian drink milk? </i></div><div><i> ~why some vegetarians are taking eggs?</i></div><div><i> ~I didn't know vegan doesn't take honey</i></div><div><i> ~isn't seafood vegetarian too?</i></div><div><br /></div><div>The above questions are not silly, </div><div>neither they reflect any ignorance.</div><div>In broad sight, </div><div>diet is truly the manifestation of one's mind and will.</div><div>While we appreciate, </div><div>there are no two minds being exactly the same,</div><div>so shall we anticipate, </div><div>no two different person's dietetic practice would be exactly the same. </div><div>Hence the confusing differences among the vegetarian/vegan community.</div><div><br /></div><div>A community may share similar philosophies/principles of living/diet,</div><div>however, the members of that community, </div><div>would still vary in their eventual practices,</div><div>due to differential personal approaches and external factors.</div><div><br /></div><div>In general, most people agree that we should: </div><div><b>.do less harm to animals, </b></div><div><b>.take good care of our own health</b></div><div>and </div><div><b>.be more eco-friendly.</b></div><div>Therefore, it's not difficult to observe that</div><div>common people do not exclusively eat meat for long term.</div><div>This is considered an omnivorous diet </div><div>which is the most prominent dietetic culture nowadays. </div><div>With an omnivorous diet, </div><div>although very weak, </div><div>we still see the manifestation of good will for overall wellbeing on Earth.</div><div>This is also the most convenient way to <i><b>do less harm </b></i>to others,</div><div>but of course the impact is obviously of the least too.</div><div><br /></div><div>There are people who feel stronger about </div><div><i>animals' welfare, personal wellness and environmental conservation.</i></div><div>They would then take that omnivorous regimen to a stricter level,</div><div>by adopting more meatless meals in a stipulated period of time </div><div>(e.g. once per week, twice a month etc)</div><div>These people may claim that they are part-time vegetarians,</div><div>as they do impose some restriction/inconvenience on themselves </div><div>to practice meatless living periodically, </div><div>-- although they would still take animal products like eggs, dairy and honey.</div><div><br /></div><div>As the story goes on,</div><div>we would anticipate there would also be people </div><div>having even stronger feelings and willings </div><div>to bring bigger impact to the world,</div><div>by incurring even stricter regimens, </div><div>undertaking greater inconvenience, </div><div>and choosing to declare that they are </div><div>full time vegetarians and vegans of different "variants".</div><div><br /></div><div>These variable forms of vegetarian/vegan diet that they choose,</div><div>whether </div><div><i><b>. ovo-lacto-vegetarian, </b></i></div><div><i><b>. ovo-vegetarian, </b></i></div><div><i><b>. lacto-vegetarian, </b></i></div><div><i><b>. honey-vegetarian, </b></i></div><div><i><b>. strict vegan,</b></i></div><div><div>many a time are subject to conditioning factors</div><div>like </div><div><i>~family culture, </i></div><div><i>~accessibility of veg at work place, </i></div><div><i>~nature of occupation, </i></div><div><i>~ability to cook by themselves etc.</i></div></div><div><br /></div><div>This is how the plant based community could be so dynamically diversified.</div><div><br /></div><div>While some vegans may think, </div><div>we all could do even better by giving up egg, dairy and honey,</div><div>this dynamism of plant based living, at variable intensities and impact,</div><div>should still be celebrated.</div><div>-- for every individual is doing one's best part to <i><b>do less harm</b></i>. </div><div><br /></div><div>Furthering from veganism, </div><div>(a dietetic regimen which avoid all animal-derived ingredients) </div><div>depending on even stronger feeling and willingness</div><div>for the betterment of humanity and religious/spiritual cultivation,</div><div>one may also impose other restrictions on </div><div>cooked foods (ie going raw), tubers, mushrooms, garlic, onions, nightshades crops, </div><div>or even going beyond dietetic restrictions, </div><div>refusing garments and tools made from animal parts. </div><div><br /></div><div>I tabulate below the myriad degrees of plant based living,</div><div>for clarity</div><div>and also to emphasize that</div><div>we are all of no difference, </div><div>whether we choose the convenient way out to go omnivorous, part time Terminating the infectious agent? </div><div> Or</div><div>B. About 2 weeks after Malaysia has restored domestic traveling</div>

I got a WhatsApp message advertising for </div>

Biodynamic Farming workshop</div>
<div>
organised by <a href="http://www.mydemeter.org/">Malaysia Demeter Association</a> </div>

<div>
Without any hesitation,</div>
<div>
I enrolled.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
From then on, </div>
<div>
a lot of amazing arrangement by the universe happened:</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*I first met some 20 enlightened souls at the workshop</div>
<div>
who aspires to plough up good crops </div>
<div>
for themselves, family and the community.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*Then, I got to know two biodynamic farming class mates, </div>
<div>
Oon Han and Sin Choy </div>
<div>
who are converting their 5-12 acres lands </div>
<div>
into environmental farmlands at/nearby Tampin.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*When I finished the workshop at Kulai, Johor,</div>
<div>
I went pick up a highly-respected holistic living author, Betty Khoo </div>
<div>
at JB and escort her back to Kuala Lumpur.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*On the way back, we dropped by at my Tampin farmland</div>
<div>
and she introduced to me </div>
<div>
another young permaculture farmer, Thomas Lim at Tampin.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
*One week later which is just yesterday,</div>
<div>
I participated another Biodynamic Farming event,</div>
<div>
to make large scale Biodynamic fertilisers (named <a href="https://www.biodynamics.in/cow-pat-pit">CPP</a>)</div>
<div>
at two organic farms @ Durian Tunggal, Melaka</div>
<div>
just 25-35min away from my Tampin farmland. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>Suddenly, in just 10 days, </b></div>
<div>
<b>my life is exploded with intensive amount of </b></div>
<div>
<b>biodynamic farming opportunities and resources!! </b></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
What's even more fortunate is that</div>
<div>
I hosted my Biodynamic Farming teacher, Mr Teoh</div>
<div>
to stay overnight at my residence at Tampin </div>
<div>
and he gave me whole lot of precious advices</div>
<div>
in managing my farmland.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
What's more more exciting,</div>
<div>
according to my teacher, </div>
<div>
he will soon be based in Durian Tunggal (25min fr my farm)</div>
<div>
to set up a Biodynamic Farming Vocational School </div>
<div>
<i>just 23km from my house</i>!!! </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The message from the universe </div>
<div>
simply can't be clearer:</div>
<div>
Biodynamic Farming will be the new path I am baptizing myself into.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In near future, </div>
<div>
there will be a Biodynamic School, </div>
<div>
and a bunch of like-minded farmers around my area in Tampin 😀</div>

--I nearly forgot to mention, </div>

there is also this environmental-minded holistic wellness establishment, </div>
<div>
<a href="https://www.aenon.org.my/">Aenon Health Care</a>, within 6km reach. </div>

They do small scale pesticide free farming too!</div>

The sphere of environmental farming in Tampin </div>
<div>
is seriously nurturing, very dynamically!!</div>

to do broad base public education on veganism. In earlier days, suggestion was that The Veg School may deploy YouTube, WeChat platforms to perform easy-to-access education online.<br />
素食学校一直以来都很想做大规模的素食教育。早年有很多人建议透过YouTube和微信等网媒,做大众化的线上教育。<br />

But for some reasons, be it technical or practical, those proposals never realised along my 14years of teachings.<br />
但是,基于技术和实践上的问题,于是这14年从事素食教育以来,都不了了之。。。<br />

Very grateful now, that this dream to do free and broad base education slowly precipitate, from 2017 onwards. That was when Malaysian AiFM DJ Min-Ming, started to invite myself intermittently, for sharing sessions on air.<br />
很感恩现在这个免费公众素食教育的梦想逐渐实现,承蒙马来西亚AiFM DJ 敏明自2017年以来多次邀请到电台分享素食健康与营养。<br />

As of Nov 2019, there are altogether 12 episodes of vegan education (Mandarin) on AiFM, and the collection is expected to expand in 2020.<br />
截至2019年11月,素食学校在AiFM的空中教育存档已经有12集。估计2020年还会继续增加。<br />

This July, my Macrobiotic culinary teacher,</div>
Mdm Kurina Yonezawa<br />
is on a teaching visit to Kuala Lumpur.<br />
<br />
She has come to teach a series of interesting veganic cooking workshops, including a Fermentation Workshop<br />
<br />
One of the most impressive episode during Sensei Kurina's visit<br />
is that, she wanted the students<br />
to seek out for traditional cultured foods in the region we live in.<br />
<br />
My homework was to study<br />
how tempeh is made and where to get reliable quality tempeh *.*<br />
<br />
I had a tempeh addicted friend, Mr Koo Wee Leng<br />
who highly recommended me to visit<br />
<a href="https://goo.gl/maps/5dLhv78fRgPWBGcf7" target="_blank">February 18 Cafe</a> at Taman Gembira Kuala Lumpur,<br />
where they sell really delicious home-made tempeh.<br />
These tempeh as I tasted later, are totally different from<br />
those sold in supermarket.<br />
Their tempeh is chunky, firm and<br />
fragrant without any ammonia smell, even eaten raw!<br />
<br />
There, Mdm Kurina and I , interviewed the lady boss, Mdm Chan on<br />
how they make the tempeh, with much passion and care.<br />
<br />
After the interview,<br />
I verified my notes with Mdm Chan to confirm<br />
that I recorded the right procedure.<br />
<br />
This tempeh making SOP which is now successfully developed,<br />
after 6 years of dedicated trial-and-error efforts, is really precious.<br />
<br />
Therefore with permission from Mdm Chan,<br />
I feel I should perpetuate her effort, having the SOP recorded in text<br />
and to educate a broader public on how to make good real nourishment :)<br />

<li>Select only good condition organic soy bean</li>
<li> Dehull and split the selected soy beans (with machine) or skip this step.</li>
<li> Select good soy beans again or skip this step if machine is not available.</li>
<li>Boil soy beans in water for 30min, scoop away the scum</li>
<li>Soak soy beans in fresh filtered water for 24hours</li>
<li>Dehull and split the beans into halves and remove the "bud" (germ structure), if Step 2 is not achievable.</li>
<li>Boil in fresh filtered water again for 15min</li>
<li> Drain and drip dry and let cool down completely</li>
<li>Add in "Ragi Tempe" (inoculant) 3g (sieved) for every 1kg soy beans and mix evenly</li>
<li>Wrap 100g beans in prewashed and air-dried banana leaf (20cmx20cm, with 1cm slits every 2cm spacing), exerting moderate strength to firm up the wrapping</li>
<li>Attach another 10cm X 8cm banana leaves (with slits) to the single layer side and wrap in paper</li>
<li>Let ferment in room temperature in airy space (best stood up) for 36hours</li>
<li>At the 36th hour: eat fresh/cooked or keep in fridge for 1-2 weeks or freeze up for multiple months of storage.</li>

Presuming we have gotten the best probiotics in town,<br />
how should we consume them to get the best results?<br />
假设找着了市面上最好的益生菌,<br />
应该如何服用达致最佳效果呢?<br />
<br />
Here are some simple pointers:<br />
以下是一些建议:<br />
<br />
(1) Probiotics are very afraid of fatty foods<br />
益生菌甚怕油腻食物<br />
<br />
-- so it's best to consume them separately from fatty meal/snacks<br />
所以最好跟油腻的餐饮分开服食<br />
<br />
(2) Probiotics need to be fed with prebiotics<br />
益生菌须要益生元来生存<br />
<br />
-- prebiotics are soluble fibres that probiotics survive on<br />
益生元是水溶性纤维也是益生菌的食物<br />
<br />
-- so it's best to consume probiotics along with prebiotics<br />
such as inulin, soft fruits, juices, soluble fibre drinks etc<br />
所以服食益生菌时最好和益生元同时服用。<br />
益生元的例子有菊糖、软水果、果汁、纤维饮等等<br />
<br />
-- personally I recommend taking 3-5pm which is a good time for fruit/juice snack<br />
个人建议下午3-5点服用最佳(也是水果、果汁服用最佳时间)<br />
<br />
(3) Probiotics do not survive well with junk foods<br />
益生菌不喜欢垃圾食物<br />
<br />
-- so in order to promote survival of probiotics,<br />
it's best to stop taking junk foods<br />
(eg. highly processed, refined, adulterated products , alcohol or fast foods)<br />
所以为了提升益生菌的生存几率,一定要戒掉垃圾食物<br />
(例如:高度加工、精炼、人工改造食品、酒精、快餐)<br />
<br />
(4) Probiotics need time to establish in the gut<br />
益生菌需要时间在场内奠定基础<br />
<br />
-- generally probiotics need about 3-6months<br />
before florishing in the gut to offer benefits<br />
一般上益生菌需要3-6个月来稳定繁衍以让肠道受惠<br />
<br />
-- it's advisable to consume probiotics for minimum 3months<br />
on daily basis, to worth the money<br />
建议每天服食益生菌至少三个月以达到预期效果<br />
<br />
-- patience needed<br />
需要耐心<br />
<br />
(5) Probiotics will be self sustaining after establishing in the gut<br />
益生菌奠定基础后会自然恒续滋长<br />
<br />
-- so, there is no need to consume Probiotics daily after 6month<br />
when they have already established well in the gut<br />
所以待6个月奠定基础之后无需每天服食益生菌<br />
<br />
-- but Probiotics may be compromised<br />
if we are not careful with our diet (eg occasional junk food);<br />
so it's not a bad idea to have "booster shots",<br />
say consuming Probiotics once a week for long term maintenance<br />
但是,如果我们饮食不当(偶尔吃垃圾食物),<br />
益生菌有可能会被妥协。<br />
那么,间断性服食“加强剂”也未曾不是件好事。<br />
譬如说,长期性地每星期服食一天。<br />

(6) Probiotics can be beneficial eaten either dead and alive<br />
益生菌,活着或死着服用,都有好处<br />

-- in contrary to general belief that<br />
Probiotics has to be alive to offer health benefits,<br />
Probiotics (and friendly bacteria) could be taken when killed and<br />
we could still fetch some benefits from the legacy of the dead bodies<br />
跟一般见解相反,益生菌并不一定要活着才有益处;<br />
益生菌死去后残余的遗体依然可以惠及肠道健康<br />
<br />
-- studies shown that lysates of probiotics could feed the gut bacteria<br />
and help good gut bacteria to flourish<br />
研究发现,益生菌的裂解液体可以充作肠菌的食物,<br />
帮助肠道良菌成长<br />
<br />
-- while we would not deliberately cook expensive Probiotics to eat,<br />
this information is useful in culinary settings where<br />
some fermented foods have to be served hot.<br />

(7) Probiotics can be used for quality control purpose in fermentation<br />

surpasses the growth of unwanted/bad bacteria<br />

-- a convenient and reliable way is<br />
to use Probiotics as starter for fermented foods,<br />
to give a good head start<br />

are always warranted<br />

in steering the gut bacteria in the right direction,<br />
friendly bacteria are also important in maintaining the health of the gut<br />
尽管益生菌在领导肠菌向善发展方面举足轻重,<br />
友善细菌维持肠道健康的角色也不可抹杀<br />
<br />
-- it's important to take, on top of Probiotics,<br />
friendly bacteria-rich fermented foods<br />
such as <a href="http://tinyurl.com/Rejuvelac" target="_blank">Rejuvelac</a>, Miso, Sauerkraut, Tempeh.<br />
和益生菌同步服食友善细菌丰富的发酵食品<br />
(比如<a href="http://tinyurl.com/Rejuvelac" target="_blank">回春水</a>、味噌、德国酸菜、天贝)是非常重要的。<br />
<br />
-- both Probiotics (clinically tested) and<br />

<u>In summary</u>, in personal opinion,<br />
Take Probiotics 3-5pm daily for the first 3-6 months,<br />
along with prebiotics and fermented foods (friendly bacteria),<br />
avoiding junk food.<br />
After that, take Probiotics once a week.<br />
<u>综上所述</u>,依个人浅见,<br />
每天下午3-5点服食益生菌,维持3-6个月,<br />
与益生元和发酵食品(友善细菌)同步,<br />
并戒掉垃圾食品。<br />
往后,每周服食益生菌一次。<br />

<u>Discriminating D,L-lactic acid capable bacteria</u><br />
<u>识别D-与L- 乳酸菌</u><br />
<br />
- A good leader bacteria (Probiotics) ideally<br />
should not produce D-lactic acid.<br />
好领导细菌(益生菌)最好不生成任何D-乳酸。<br />
<br />
- Actually, D-lactic acid is not detrimental<br />
when administered moderately on a normal individual;<br />
and many friendly bacteria do produce D-lactic acids.<br />
But, because Probiotics are often administered in large amount<br />
for substantial length of period,<br />
D-lactic acid will easily accumulate and<br />
subsequently cause adverse effect to the body;<br />
hence it's best Probiotics do not produce D-lactic acid.<br />

Some were discovered in commercial labs with minimal studies done,<br />
just to hastily push them out in the market.<br />

- It's important that we prefer Probiotics<br />
which have been studied by multiple labs/research groups<br />

<br />
- This is to minimise unexpected side-effects<br />
if the probiotics are to be administered in large quantity and<br />

There is no need to consider this product at all,<br />
because likely the strain in the product is not clinically tested.<br />

Clinically tested strains are usually patented or "copyrighted".<br />
That means the production cost is much higher, after paying the royalty fees.<br />
It's unlikely for manufacturer to miss out the strain code on the product label<br />
if so much cost has been involved.<br />

生产成本会因版权费而提高。<br />
生产商付了大笔数目,不可能不标明菌种编号。<br />

Probiotics do not usually give immediate effect or gratification.<br />
Probiotics ingested takes at least a few months<br />
to establish and flourish in the gut, before offering real benefits.<br />

益生菌往往需要至少数月才能有效地置入肠道,提供病人真正的利益。<br />

In order to make consumer feel good immediately<br />
after taking a "friendly bacteria" product,<br />
often manufacturers will add in<br />
digestive enzymes and other laxative ingredients like lactose<br />
to illusify the efficacy of the product.<br />
This may be a signal the product itself<br />
may not contain clinically proven Probiotics.<br />
为了让消费者服用“友善细菌”产品后,马上感觉良好,<br />
生产商不惜加入消化酶和一些缓泻剂(例如:乳糖)<br />

<u>Human beings rely on gut bacteria to survive</u><br />

- It is natural to have bacteria living in our gut,<br />
as they play a symbiotic role, providing nutrients<br />
such as: short chain saturated fatty acids<br />
that we cannot synthesize on our own or we cannot acquire from foods.<br />

因为肠道细菌扮演着共生的角色,<br />
提供我们人体不能自行制造或者不能从食物中摄取的营养,<br />
譬如:短链饱和脂肪酸。<br />

<u>The spectrum/landscape (profile) of gut bacteria is dynamic and unique</u><br />
肠道细菌的光谱/格局(档案)是善变、独特的:<br />

- Our gut houses many types/strains of bacteria (ie wide spectrum) and<br />
types/strains/numbers are unique among individuals<br />
我们的肠道住着许多种类的细菌(即光谱宽广),<br />
而每个人所具有肠道菌种和数量都不一样的。<br />

- The ratios between different strains/types of bacteria (ie landscape)<br />
are also different between different people<br />

- The profile of gut bacteria in our gut changes very frequently,<br />
depending on our food intake, climate and environment etc<br />

<u>Most gut bacteria are easily influenced</u><br />
绝大部份的肠道细菌都容易被影响:<br />
<br />
- Very few realized that bulk of our gut bacteria<br />
are easily swayed/influenced by small populations of<br />
good leader and bad leader bacteria.<br />
鲜少人知道,<br />
肠道细菌可以因一小撮的好领导和坏领导肠菌,而被“疏摆”/影响。<br />
<br />
- Good leader bacteria are small portion of the gut bacteria<br />
that are domineering enough to influence bulk of the gut bacteria<br />
to behave beneficially to the gut.<br />
好领导肠菌是肠道内一小群肠菌,<br />
据有足够强悍特质去影响其他大多数肠道细菌,去让肠道受惠。<br />
<br />
- Bad leader bacteria are small portion of the gut bacteria<br />
that are domineering enough to influence bulk of the gut bacteria<br />
to misbehave, doing harm to the gut.<br />
坏领导肠菌是肠道内一小群肠菌,<br />
据有足够强悍特质去影响其他大多数肠道细菌,去伤害肠道。<br />

Up till this point, readers may start to ponder...<br />
说到这里,读者们可能会想。。。<br />
<br />
Yes, bulk of the bacteria in our gut are just lemmings!<br />
They are neither beneficial nor harmful.<br />
But their traits change according to whoever speak louder<br />
between good leader bacteria and bad leader.<br />
是的!绝大部份的肠道细菌都是跟随者。<br />
他们其实不分好坏。<br />
但是他们的特质会随着较强势的好/坏领导而变好/坏。<br />
<br />
If we eat too much junk foods nourishing the bad leader bacteria,<br />
then bulk of the gut bacteria will misbehave under the influence of<br />
the more domineering bad leaders.<br />
So it doesn't matter how much friendly bacteria we consume.<br />
As long as bad leaders speak louder, all these friendly bacteria will become bad.<br />
如果我们吃太多垃圾食物来滋养坏领导肠菌,<br />
那么大部份的肠菌便在坏领导的影响下会变坏。<br />
所以,不管我们吃多少友善细菌;<br />
只要坏领导在肠道内做主导,那么吃进去的友善细菌都会变坏。<br />

If we consume clinically proven probiotics (ie the good leaders),<br />
when they flourish in the gut and speak louder than bad leader bacteria,<br />
bulk of the gut bacteria will become beneficial.<br />
This is why for therapeutic use,<br />
Probiotics has to be clinically proven to be influential enough to confer benefits.<br />
如果我们服用经临床验证的益生菌(即是好领导),<br />
当它们在肠道内繁衍,比坏领导强势时,<br />
那么大部份的肠菌便会给肠道带来益处。<br />
这正是为什么,从医疗角度来看,<br />
益生菌必定要经过临床证明有足够影响力来供给肠道益处。<br />

<br />
Now, we know Probiotics is not just any common friendly bacteria<br />
reported to have lived in human gut.<br />
Probiotics also have to be strong, domineering and<br />
influential in favour human gut's health.<br />
至此,我们理解益生菌不是随便任何能住在肠道里的友善细菌而已。<br />
益生菌必须是健壮、强势还有影响力<br />
给肠道带来健康。<br />
<br />
This in turn implies that,<br />
conventionally mis-interpreted "Probiotics" namely<br />
由此我们可以推断,<br />
普遍被误会成“益生菌”的<br />
. Yoghurt 优葛<br />
. Kefir 科菲尔<br />
. Kombucha 康布茶<br />
. Rejuvelac 回春水<br />
. Miso 味噌<br />
. Sauerkraut 德国酸菜<br />
. Kimchi 韩国泡菜<br />
and many other fermented foods 等等发酵食品<br />
can only serve as friendly bacteria supplementation,<br />
and do not warrant beneficial consequences after consumption,<br />
pending the prior existence of good leaders in the gut.<br />
They definitely cannot be termed 'Probiotics' (until clinically trialed, batch by batch).<br />
只能作为友善细菌的补充剂,<br />
服用后,按肠道是否有好领导,才能确保有健康效益。<br />
它们绝对不能命名为益生菌(直至经过临床验证,而且是每一批都得审核)。<br />
<br />
It is hence advised to consumed fermented foods<br />
along with clinically proven probiotics<br />
to avoid these friendly bacteria being swayed towards the harmful direction,<br />
in case there are already too much bad leader bacteria in the gut<br />
or even in the fermented foods (if not cultured professionally).<br />
因此建议进食发酵品时,<br />
同时服用临床证实的益生菌,<br />
避免发酵食品的友善细菌被疏摆去伤害肠道。<br />
因为肠道里或发酵食品里,<br />

The experimental design wasn't properly done too.<br />
In the study, the test subjects were allowed to<br />
anyhow take any brand and any type of "probiotics",<br />
including commercial and home made yoghurt.<br />
There was absolutely no quality control in<br />
what was administered to the subjects.<br />
研究的设计也没有计划好。<br />
研究对象可以任意使用任何牌子和种类的“益生菌”,<br />
甚至包括市场和自制的优葛/酸奶。<br />

first, we have to understand a few points here:<br />

1. <b>Probiotics</b> are often confused with<br />
<b>Friendly bacteria</b> and <b>Yoghurt-making bacteria</b>. <br />
<b>益生菌</b>、<b>友善</b><b>细菌(良菌)</b>和<b>优葛</b><b>菌</b><b>,</b><br />
三者时常被混淆。</div>

<b><br /></b>
<b>*Probiotics </b>are elite friendly bacteria which are<br />
clinically proven to offer medicinal benefits.<br />
But this term has been abused by commercials which<br />
sell only friendly bacteria that are<br />
not clinically proven for medicinal benefits in the health supplement market.<br />
<b>益生菌</b>是一群优质友善细菌,经科学临床实验,证实能达至医疗效果。<br />
但是,这个名词已经惯性被保健业的商家滥用,<br />
混淆于没有临床证明的非医疗性的友善细菌。</div>

<b>*Friendly bacteria </b>are not necessarily clinically proven.<br />
They are found to be able to live in human gut<br />
offering some health benefits (given proper influence from Probiotics).<b> </b><br />

它们能在人体肠道内滋生,协助维护肠道健康<br />
(益生菌影响的前提下而言)。</div>

<b>*Yoghurt bacteria </b>are not necessarily friendly bacteria.<br />
They are bacteria that may produce lactic acid (both D- and L- form)<br />
inducing the transformation of liquid milk to semi solid yoghurt.<br />
Incidentally, Yoghurt can contain dangerous and bad bacteria,<br />
especially when made unprofessionally at home.<br />

2. Brain fog is not caused by probiotics.<br />
It is caused by accumulation of too much D-lactic acid<br />
that is often produced by non-clinically proven friendly bacteria.<br />
D-lactic acid is a form of lactic acid indigestible by human metabolism.<br />
It is seen as toxic burden to gut/liver/brain when accumulated too much. <br />
脑雾不是益生菌所造成的。<br />
脑雾的现象是过多的D-状乳酸累积过多在体内才造成的。<br />
D乳酸往往是没经临床试验证的友善菌所生成的。<br />
D乳酸是一种人体未能代谢的乳酸。<br />

3. It's the L-lactic acid that we human body needs.<br />
But friendly bacteria often do not always produce L-form only,<br />
but also produce D-form lactic acid.<br />
Our body can withstand small amount of D-lactic acid,<br />
but if we take too much of clinically *unproven* probiotics (ie fake probiotics),<br />
the population spectrum/landscape of bacteria in our gut<br />
will be seriously skewed, causing too much D-lactic acid production.<br />
我们人体需要的是L-乳酸。<br />
可是友善细菌一般都会生成D、L两种乳酸。<br />
我们身体能承受少量D-乳酸,<br />
但是,当我们服用大量未经临床验证的友善细菌(假成益生菌),<br />

End of year 2016, Tzuchi of Kuala Lumpur organised an event to promote health and vegetariansm. I was requested to provide information on the roles of herbs and spices in a vegetarian diet:</div>

2016年岁末吉隆坡慈济人医会办了一场健康与素食的推广。其中一个环节谈及素食与香草香料在素食中的角色,于是受邀提相关供资料浅述:</div>

In general, a vegetarian diet is inclined to dampen digestive fire (due to plant's innate alkaloid, phytates, oxalates and many other digestion-inhibitive phytochemicals) <br />
素食一般比较'凉胃'(生物碱,植酸,草酸等抑制消化的植物化学物之故)</div>

Therefore, in a vegetarian diet, it's important to apply adequate amount of stomach-warming (digestion/apetite improving) herbs and spices.<br />
所以适量加入'温胃'/提胃火(增进消化能力/食欲)的香草香料在素食里是非常重要的。</div>

Veg Nutrition Course, the secret of salad sauce. This is an important gastronomy lesson, and I made a point to get students to create their own salad sauces, by the principle I teach in class. <br />

在素食学校的素食营养学课程里,曾经跟同学们分享沙拉酱的奥密,还要让同学们回家按沙拉酱的原则,研发创意沙拉酱。<br />

The secret and principle of tasty salad sauce is actually very simple, as illustrated below:</div>

个中的奥密和原则其实很简单,那不外是:</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<b>Sour. Sweet. Salty.</b><br />
<b>酸。甜。咸。</b><br />
<b><br /></b></div>

Basically, as soon as, Sour, Sweet and Salty ingredients are mixed together, the prototype of salad sauce is created. </div>
<div dir="ltr">
基本上只要把含有酸甜咸口味的材料混合变成糊状,沙拉酱的雏形便形成了。<br />
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Recently, a student created a salad sauce without the salty component and swore that it tastes good. </div>
<div dir="ltr">
近来有位同学研发沙拉酱时,省略了咸味成份,誓言口味依然很好味道。<br />

<div dir="ltr">
I explained that, the Sour.Sweet.Salty combination is required to serve a very important function, that is to neutralise alkaloids in raw veggies. </div>
<div dir="ltr">
殊不知沙拉酱,必须酸、甜、咸俱全,才能发挥到一个很重要的作用,那就是中和生蔬菜的生物碱。<br />
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Alkaloids are toxins found inevitably in all raw veggies, as they are part of the inborn defence system of the plants. </div>
<div dir="ltr">
生物碱是生食蔬菜难免的一种天然毒素(植物与生俱来的自卫武器)。<br />
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
If one were to consume raw veggies on its own, and find it revolting, then likely it's an issue of alkaloid.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
如果光只是吃生蔬菜会觉得难以下咽,那就是生物碱在作怪。<br />
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
This is when salt and acids in salad sauce, are needed, to neutralise the alkaloids. And, the sugar content is to help mask the astringent taste of the raw veggies. </div>
<div dir="ltr">
这时就得靠沙拉酱的盐份和酸来中和生物碱。而糖份是用来掩饰生物碱的涩味的。<br />
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
If one of the 3 tastes is missing in a salad sauce, the alkaloid neutralisation function will be toned down. This will be especially obvious when it goes with a very astringent veggie (eg spinach, bitterguord). Therefore, it is best to design a salad sauce with 3 tastes, so that it suits widest range of veggies :)</div>

沙拉酱酸甜咸缺一,功力会减退。如果所配的生菜特别涩的话(例如菠菜、苦瓜),这个沙拉酱可能没办法过关。所以设计沙拉酱,最好能酸甜咸俱全,才能配搭多种不同的沙拉 :)<br />
